Larry shell slams into the skull, knocking it into Petey’s mouth. Petey then swallows.

Now, Larry and
his party are all on a stage. Kammy Koopa is talking in front of many feasting
Dark Land citizens.
Kammy: It brings me great honor to announce, the Heroes of Dark Land! I know we’re all villains here for the most part, but Kamek was too twisted, and thus, he needed to be stopped. Our heroes are, Our Seventh Prince, Lawrence Plantner Koopa-
Torpedo Ted: Plantner! I get it! Because you like plants!
Kammy: -P.T. Piranha, Petey Piranha, Axem Purple, King Boo, Torpedo Ted, Shade, and Luvbi!

Kammy: CHEER, YOU INGRATES! THEY SAVED US ALL!
The citizens cheer. Ludwig comes up to Larry.
Ludwig: Larry, I guess that since you saved us, you get to be the new king instead of me.
Larry: Really?
Ludwig: No. You can be the vice king.
Larry: Woohoo!
P.T.: Take that, Mom! I can do something important!
K. K. Slider appears and starts playing his guitar.

Larry: He was getting annoying.
The next morning, the group is outside the newly restored Dark Land’s borders.
Larry: My time with you people was… annoying. Anyway, I guess it’s time we say goodbye.
Luvbi: Bye, Larry! Now that I’ve saved the day with you all, my parents are sure to be less overprotective!
Luvbi warps to the Overthere using her light powers.
Torpedo Ted: I’m a torpedo! And now I must be on my own trail again. Bye, Lenny!
Larry: Larry.
Torpedo Ted: Whatever. TORPEDO AWAY!
He flies away.
King Boo: Well, Petey and I are off to live our buddy movie-worthy lives again.
Petey: Yeah, so goodbye, Larry!
They leave.
P.T.: I’m gonna go do… I don’t know. You know where to find me.
P.T. walks back to wherever he lives.
Purple: I’m inspired. I’m gonna go on my own adventure. See ya around, Larry!
Shade: Can I come? I’m only newly revived, so I don’t have anywhere to go.
Purple: Sure, why not?
Both: Bye, Larry!
Larry: Bye. Now I’ve got some Vice King duties to attend to! Cue the credits!
The New Super
Mario Bros. credits music starts playing. Clips of parts of the story start
showing.

Larry: Well,
that was a fun adventure. Now for a special feature, the only interviewer
here will interview us. Unfortunately, that interviewer is P.T.
P.T.: Okay! So what were all your favorite parts of the story? Mine was probably when Kamek and I were with the Rabbids, and the fight scenes towards the end.
Larry: I don’t know. I was the star, so I liked most of it, but I was REALLY annoyed most of the time.
Petey: I liked when King Boo joined, because then some opportunities for comedy about us two opened up.
Purple: I’m thinking I liked the ending battles with Kamek, I really think it showed off my full potential.
King Boo: I liked when I joined too, for the same reason as Petey.
Torpedo Ted: I liked my dramatic entrance into the story, because I’m a torpedo!
Shade: I liked when we arrived in the Overthere, because I was sick of the Underwhere. But I especially liked right after we defeated Kamek, because then I could do whatever I wanted with my life.
Luvbi: I liked the fight with Bonechill, because it was the first moderately interesting thing I’ve done recently.
P.T.: Okay. That’s about it! Bye, people! Keep an eye out for the sequel!
Larry: Dang it! Oh well, at least it won’t star me next time.
