Mack: I'm going to make sure you know how to bounce right! Hey, what do you think of this crown, huh? Well, to start off the new season, we have two challengers pumped and ready to go. And they are...
Buster Beetle: I'm Buster Beetle. Just because I'm a beetle doesn't mean I'll go down easily, because I'm gonna make my opponent eat block.
Porcupo: I'm Porcupo, one of the forgotten characters from Mario 2. I'm so mad, anyone who comes near me will get a mouthful of quills!
Mack: Intense! I'd better be careful not to bounce out of this booth in my excitement. Here's Larry with his prediction for who will win.
Larry: I guarantee that Buster Beetle will win... long-range attacks work every time.
Mack: It didn't help Birdo last battle.
Larry: I didn't hear that!
Roy: The Tourist of the Week, who should start praying that Larry guessed correctly, is... David. Wow. Let's just start the battle already.
Mack: Here comes Piranha Plant to start things off.
Piranha Plant: You'd better make the start of Season Two exciting, or else! Fight!
Mack: And here we go! Buster Beetle makes the first move by throwing a block at Porcupo, but the block shatters on his spikes and doesn't appear to do any damage.
Porcupo: So much for your all-powerful long-range attack. Now try mine on for size!
Mack: Woah! Porcupo is shooting his quills all around the ring! I didn't know he could do that! But Buster Beetle has hid in his shell, and the quills seem to be doing little damage.
Porcupo: Uh oh, he's not dead yet... and I'm out of quills!
Buster Beetle: Haha! I thought that would happen, and now you are completely vulnerable to another one of my block attacks, so here it comes!
Mack: Buster Beetle is repeating his block throw move, and this time there are dire consequences! Porcupo has been hit head-on, and has fallen over onto his back.
Buster Beetle: One more shot should do it...
Porcupo: No, wait! I can't get up! I quit!
Buster Beetle: Suit yourself... I was out of blocks anyway.
Porcupo: I unquit!
Piranha Plant: Nope, you lose! Goodbye.
Porcupo: You... you cheaters! I'm gonna make sure you pay!
Buster Beetle: Maybe, but you'll need to get off the floor first.
Porcupo: ... Conspiracy.
Mack: Wow, I can't contain my bounces anymore! Buster Beetle gave Porcupo a whooping, and is the first Champion of Season Two! Who will win next week? Tune in and find out!
Roy: Aww, one whole battle, and no shockings. What's this world coming to?
Larry: I guess right, they hate me. I guess wrong, they hate me.
David: Now that I've actually gotten a line, just end transmission already.
Roy: Ok.
