Welcome to the Boxing Arena! I trust you paid your ticket, since you don't want to get in the ring with me! We've got some events that I know you'll just love! Even if you don't, I know you won't dare to complain.

Here's how it works, pal. Each week, two of your favorite Mario Universe characters will go head to head in an all-out grudge fest. But, because of various handicaps such as having their feet tied together, each challenger will be roughly equal to their opponent. They will need your support to raise their morale and give them the extra boost of energy they need to win.

So, once each week, you will come here and vote for the boxer you like best. And you will come and vote, too, or else I'll come lookin' for you! The polls will open sometime Saturday (at whatever time Lemmy updates his dumb page), and will close Friday evening, so you'll have plenty of time to vote for your favorite, as dictated by me. You will, of course, vote for my choice. Don't vote more than once, or I'll throw you in the ring!

Sometimes a boxer will break out of the traps I've set, so it is actually possible for a character to win without receiving the most support. That would only happen if I disagreed with your choice, of course. Each battle will be recorded here for you to read, and I know you're going to want to memorize each and every battle.
