The Koopalings Go Shopping

Originally by Wendy O. Koopa, finished by Prince Larry

Go see the original story.

Last time, the Koopalings weren't doing anything but Bowser announced that it was Wendy's birthday and told the other Kooplalings to go and buy presents for their sister. And now for the rest of the story.

After Roy made his anouncement to Ludwig, Lemmy came out of nowhere riding on his ball as usual with his gift for Wendy.

Lemmy: WOW! Look at this big beach ball complete with nifty designs and everything! I'm sure that she'll love this! And guess what else, it's on sale for 40 coins!

Ludwig: Are you sure that you are buying that for Wendy, or are you buying that for yourself?

Lemmy: Now why on Plit are you asking me that?

Ludwig: Well you know how you like collecting diferent types of balls to increase your vast minagere of them.

Lemmy: What was that last part?

Ludwig: You have a very large collection of balls.

Lemmy: Oh, well, I'll prove to you that this ball is for Wendy! Just watch.

Lemmy goes to the counter to pay for the ball and to have it specially gift wrapped for his little sister.

Cashier: Mmmmmmmmmmmmyyyyeeeeesssssssssss?!

Lemmy: (with a surprised look on his face) Um, yeeeaaaaah... Uh, I want  to purchase this neat ball... oh, and i want it gift wrapped.

Cashier: Mmmmmmmmmmyyyyeeeeeeessssssssss!!! And what color wrapping paper do you want?

Lemmy: Um, pink?

Cashier: Yyyeeeesssss, pink wrapping paper. Is this gift for your girlfriend?!

Lemmy: NO! I don't have no girlfriend! It's for my sister you loon!

Cashier: Ohhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!!! Well that will be 48 coins!

Lemmy: What?! You moron! Are you trying rip me off?!

Casheir: Eh nooooooooooooooo! My price is reasonable, 40 for the ball and 8 coins to special wrap it.

Lemmy: Oh, ok. Here you go

As Lemmy handed over the 48 coins, Ludwig and Roy decided to go ahead and pay  for their items as well. The first was, of course, Ludwig.

Ludwig: Yes, I know how much capital that this fine cosmetical item costs.

Cashier: Eh?

Ludwig: *sigh* I know how much the makeup costs and I have enough for it.

Cashier: Oh yeesss! That will be 32 coins.

Ludwig: What?!

Cashier: 32 coins.

Ludwig: Why is it that much?!

Cashier: You do want it gift wrapped, don't you?

Ludwig: Errrrrrrrr... Oh all right, fine, here's the gift wrapping fee.

Roy: Now you know why I didn't have my gift wrapped... I already spent  enough of my dishonestly earned money as it is.

As Ludwig begrudgingly gave his money to the cashier, Iggy and Larry were  still looking around for a gift for Wendy.

Iggy: Say Larry, do you think that Wendy will like this?

Iggy held up a G.I. Koopa doll.

Larry: No!

Iggy: Ok, how about this?

Iggy held up a skateboard.

Larry: No!

Iggy: Ok, let's see here... Oh, how about this really nifty Ninja Turtle action figure?

Larry: No!

Iggy: Geez Larry, are you just going to say "No" to everything?!

Just as Iggy asked that question, he saw Larry waddling along to the  girls section of the toy department.

Iggy: Ok, I'll follow! Ok, now what are you looking for?

Larry: (trying to pick up a giant teddy bear) Iggy, hewp me!

Iggy: Yeah, Wendy will definitely love that!

As Iggy and Larry tried to carry the giant Teddy bear, we now join Morton looking around in various departments asking other customers if they think his sister would like a particular item.

Morton: Hey Mr.! I'm looking for something that my sister would like. Do you think you could help, assist, give me an opinion, or just tell me what you think of this selection that I have right here?

But just as Morton got his speech started he looked in the shoes department and saw some lovely bright red shoes.

Morton: Ooooohh oooohh! I know what to buy Wendy for her birthday! I'll buy her those shoes, slippers, sandals, clogs, cloddhoppers, foot coverings and she'll totally adore, love, cherish, like, and maybe even keep them more than three weeks!

Customer: JUST SHUT UP AND BUY THOSE SHOES!!!

So Morton rushed over to the shoe department and picked up the red shoes, which just happened to be in Wendy's size. So now we go back over to Larry and Iggy, who were still trying to carry the giant teddy bear over to the cashier, when all of a sudden Roy showed up.

Larry: Can't you pick it up, Iggy?

Iggy: I'm trying as hard as I can, Larry.

Roy: Hahahahahahahahaha!!! You two honestly think youse can carry that giant bear?! Well I'll help you two this time just so you guys can't ever say that Roy ain't done nothing for ya.

So now we join all of the Koopalings back at the cash register with Ludwig, who was reading a book called The Joys of Science, and Lemmy, who was reading a Crimson Koopa comic book while waiting on the rest of their brothers to come back with their gifts.

Iggy: We're back with our gifts.

Morton: Here's my present, gift, token of esteem, appre- Mmmmmmmppppphhhhhh!

Roy: Morton, shut up!!!

Cashier: Ahhhhh, more customers! Let's see here, giant bear... 50 coins, red
shoes... 42 coins, and with gift wrapping of the shoes will be another 10 coins.

Morton: MMMMMMMPPPPPPPHHHHHHH!!!

Iggy and Larry: WHAT?!

Roy: Just shut up and pay so we can get home...

And so Larry, Iggy, and Morton paid for the gifts and returned home to Castle Koopa, where they found a disgruntled Wendy, who had wondered where her brothers had gone.

Wendy: And just where were you guys?!

Iggy: Uhhhhhhhhh... movie?

Ludwig: I was at a library.

Roy: The gym.

Morton: Buying you-

Roy: (covering up Morton's mouth again) Shut up!

Lemmy: I was, ummmmmm, I was playing outside!

Larry: Watewing pwants.

Wendy: (stomping off like usual) Stupid brothers of mine! Forgetting my birthday and not getting me lots of presents!

Ludwig: Whew, talk about your close calls. Morton you idiot, you almost gave the surprise away.

Lemmy: Well we have an hour to get everything set up, and King Dad and Queen  Mom are out buying their gifts for Wendy and getting her a cake.

Roy: And you get to keep Wendy busy while we set up for the party.

Lemmy: What?!

Iggy: Just keep Wendy busy while we set everything up.

Lemmy: But why me?

Larry: Because she wikes you best.

Lemmy: *sigh* Ok. Fine. Whatever...

The hour had passed and Clawdia and Bowser returned with their presents for Wendy and the birthday cake, which was as Wendy had wanted, very large and vanilla, much to her delight. The presents were set up and all of the decorations were in place. Elsewhere Wendy was being entertained by Lemmy and his famous circus ball balancing act.

Wendy: (giggling) Lemmy, you're so good at that! Are you gonna try a highwire trick with your ball?

Lemmy: (What?! Why is she asking me that? I haven't perfected that trick yet! Uh oh, it's time!)

Wendy: Well?

Lemmy: Um, how about I try that later. I bet King Dad and Queen Mom have a neat surprise for you.

Wendy: Really?

Lemmy: Yeah, just follow me!

Lemmy hopped on his ball and started riding towards the dining room. When they got there, Lemmy flipped the light switch. Wendy was completely surprised at what she saw.

Everyone: HAPPY BIRTHDAY WENDY!!!

Wendy: Wow! Look at all the presents! Ooooooohhh, which one will I open first?

Wendy opened Morton's present first and got the new red shoes, which she had said she needed. Then she
opened Ludwig's present and was so happy to get yet another makeup kit that she gave her eldest brother
a hug. Next she spotted a young Piranha Plant which was obviously from Larry on the center of the table, and then she noticed a circular object. When she opened it she saw the pink beach ball Lemmy had bought her. She was so happy with that that she gave Lemmy a big hug as well. The giant bear that Iggy got for her she didn't like as much as the beach ball but she had it placed with her collection of stuffed animals as gratitude. Now, the fake diamond ring... well, let's just say that Roy's headache wasn't from too much Ice cream. Bowser had bought Wendy the current in vogue dress and Clawdia had bought her a new
polkadotted bow. After all the festivities were concluded, the Koopalings sat in the living room and complained about their monitary problems.

Lemmy: Well at least she liked mine and Ludwig's presents.

Ludwig: (reading again) Ugh! Don't you start, Lemmy! Do you even realize how much embarrassment I had to suffer when I was buying that?!

Roy: Will you guys clam up?! I have a major headache here!

Iggy: Too much ice cream?

Roy: No. Wendy's shrill squealing and yelling...

Iggy: Oh.

Moton: At least she cherished, loved, liked, enjoyed, and just plain cared for my gift, present, token of extreme gratitude, appreciation, devotion-

Roy: (punching Morton) Clam it, dork! Ahhhhh, I feel a little better already...

Ludwig: It's bad enough that we're broke, and I wanted to buy that Li'l Mad Scientist Chemestry Set too.

Larry: Well my gift was fwee! I gwew it!

Lemmy: Ahhhhh, it's really no big deal. At least we weren't sitting around bored all day.

Iggy: True, and we made Wendy happy for a couple of days anyway.

Lemmy: Yep, but I know this much. I ain't going shopping like that ever again.

Iggy: Me too, I almost pulled a muscle carrying that bear.

Ludwig: Don't get me started.

Morton: *starts to talk but is punched by Morton* MMMMMMMPPPPPPPHHHH!!!

Roy: Iggy, what muscles? And Morton, shut up!

Larry: Well I got off easy!

Everyone Else: WE KNOW YOU GREW YOUR PRESENT!!!

And so ends a tale of six Koopa brothers who had a sort of rough time shopping for a spoiled sister who very hard to please as well.

The End
