Biographical Details: Pauline was Mario's old girlfriend back when he was living in Brooklyn New York. She first appeared in Donkey Kong where she was kidnapped by the gorilla who shared the name of the video game title and got rescued by Mario. She also appeared in Pinball, where she made a cameo appearance with Mario. After that Pauline never appeared in video games again. She did appear in The Donkey Kong segments of CBS Saturday Supercade. Pauline was eventually replaced as Mario's girlfriend by Princess Peach Toadstool.

King Wart Koopa

Biographical Details: Wart is a relative of King Bowser Koopa.  How he is related to Bowser is unknown. Some speculations say that Wart is Bowser's brother. Others say he's his cousin. Wart appeared in Super Mario Bros 2 (Super Mario All Stars and Super Mario Advance don't count because they are remakes of the same game) where he tried to take over Sub-con, the Land of Dreams, but his plans were foiled by Mario, Luigi, Peach, and Toad. There are rumors that Wart has appeared in Super Mario World 2 as Prince Froggy and Super Mario RPG as Frogfucious but those are just mere speculations. Wart and his minions were originally recycled from a game called Doki Doki Panic translated loosely to Dream Factory, which is a game that takes place outside the Mario Universe, but Super Mario Bros. 2 is the game that introduced them to the Mario universe.

Tatanga the Mysterious Spaceman

Biographical Details: Tatanga is an alien from outer space. He first appeared in Super Mario Land where he kidnapped Princess Daisy. Then he appeared again in Super Mario Land 2, where he worked for Wario as the Space Zone guardian. He hasn't been seen since.

Biographical Details: Kamek is Bowser's adopted father from when he was a baby. He first appeared in Super Mario World 2: Yoshi's Island when he predicted that Mario and Luigi would be the downfall to the Koopa Family. In order to prevent that from happening he planned on kidnapping the Mario Brothers while they were still babies and destroy them but he only managed to kidnap Luigi. As fate would have it Yoshi kept Mario well-protected from Kamek and eventually defeated him and Bowser and rescued Luigi. Kamek's other appearance was in Tetris Attack where he helped Bowser (who is an adult in this game) try to take over Yoshi's Island.

Biographical Details: Mallow is the prince of Nimbus Land. He only appeared in Super Mario RPG where he was born in Nimbus Land and was taken away from his parents when he was a baby. An evil woman named
Valentina and her sidekick Dodo dropped him in The Midas River where Frogfucious found him and took him in to raise as his grandson. One day Mallow went to the Mushroom Kingdom to buy a Cricket Pie for his adopted grandfather. Suddenly a coin thief named Croco stole Mallow's coin. Mallow met Mario and he agreed to help him get the coin back. After finally buying the pie and going back to Tadpole Pond, Mallow learned that he was not a frog or a tadpole and he joined Mario on the rest of his adventure. They were later joined by Geno, King Bowser Koopa, and Princess Peach Toadstool. After they collected five Star Pieces they found Nimbus Land and Mallow discovered he was a prince. When they found out Valentina was taking over Nimbus Land, Mario, Mallow, and their friends defeated her and her sidekick. Mallow eventually met his real parents and they had a brief reunion before continuing the adventure. After Smithy was defeated Mallow went back to Nimbus Land and stayed there.

Geno

Biographical Details: Geno is a guardian of the Star Road. He first appeared in Super Mario RPG where he had a run in with Smithy's stooges, but Mario and Mallow helped him defeat the crazed archer. In return Geno explained the concept of the Star Road to Mario and Mallow and joined them on the rest of their adventure. They were later joined by King Bowser Koopa and Princess Peach Toadstool. After Smithy was defeated Geno went back to above the heavens to protect Star Road. He returns to appear in Mario and Luigi's Superstar Saga, where he might give Mario and Luigi some helpful hints.

Biographical Details: Smithy is an evil alien who came to Mario's world by breaking the Star Road and managed to take over Bowser's Keep. He grabbed one piece of Star Road but Mario, Mallow, Geno, Bowser, and Peach foiled his plans. After Smithy was defeated all was back to normal in Mario's World. Smithy only appeared in Super Mario RPG.

Biographical Details: Professor Gadd is an elderly scientist who once did some research on Ghosts. He met Luigi in the mansion that he supposedly won in a contest while trying to catch a ghost. The ghost was
about to scare Luigi but Professor Gadd rescued him. After that Professor Gadd loaned out his Poltergust 3000 and his Game Boy Horror to Luigi so he can rescue Mario from King Boo. Professor Gadd only
appeared in Luigi's Mansion but he was mentioned in Super Mario Sunshine as the inventor of FLUDD and The Gaddbrush that Bowser Junior used to disguise himself as Shadow Mario. He was also mentioned in Mario Party 4 as the inventor of the Gaddlight.

Biographical Details: King Boo is a king of ghosts. He first appeared in Luigi's Mansion where he lured Mario into a painting to get revenge for defeating him in a previous encounter and eventually got defeated by Luigi. He appeared again in Super Mario Sunshine where he works for King Bowser Koopa as one of his underlings in a haunted hotel and gets defeated by Mario. Perhaps that's the previous encounter that King Boo was trying to get even with Mario for. He also appeared in Mario Kart Double Dash as a playable character.

Biographical Details: Bowser Koopa Junior is the youngest of Bowser's children. Apparently Bowser had Junior after his other kids disappeared. His name is Bowser Junior because he looks so much like Bowser when he was younger. He first appeared in Mario Party as one of seven younger Bowser look-a-likes. He appeared again in Super Mario Sunshine where he tried to ruin Isle Delfino under the alter ego of Shadow Mario as an attempt to get even with Mario for his father. Bowser Junior has also appeared in many secondary Mario games as well. We never see him with his siblings. It's unknown who Bowser Junior's
mother is or if he has the same mother as his seven older siblings.

Biographical Details: Kammy is suppoesedly Kamek's twin sister and Bowser's top Magikoopa at the time of Paper Mario. Kammy helped Bowser steal the Star Rod and imprison The Star Spirits. She did what she could to stop Mario and his companions from reaching Bowser's Castle. She even tried to increase Bowser's invincibility and yet she got defeated by Peach and Twink just before Mario defeated Bowser. Kammy only appeared in Paper Mario.

Biographical Details: Donkey Kong is not normally a part of the Mario Universe but he rates an entry because he first appeared in the first Mario game ever made. In that game which he shared the title with, he
kidnapped Pauline and got defeated by Mario. Then in Donkey Kong Junior he got kidnapped by Mario and rescued by his son. In Donkey Kong 3 he broke into a greenhouse and let some bugs in but Stanley the Bugman defeated him. Later on he eventually got old and went by the nickname Cranky. He appeared in Donkey Kong Country where he gave advice to Donkey and Diddy. Then he appeared in Donkey Kong Country 2 where he gave advice to Diddy and Dixie. In Donkey Kong Country 3 he became a throwing opponent against Dixie and Kiddy. In Donkey Kong 64 he sold his inventions to  Donkey or one of his companions.

Biographical Details: Kooper is a friendly blue-shelled Koopa Troopa. He is the second character to join Mario in Paper Mario. He starts out by having his shell stolen by some Fuzzies. Mario and Goombario help him get his shell back and he joins them on the rest of their adventure. Kooper has a lot of shell attacks. After King Bowser is defeated Kooper joins his next door neighbor Kolorado on an archaelogical expedition.

Biogrphical Details: Bombette is a friendly pink Bob-omb. She is the third character to join Mario on his adventure in Paper Mario. She starts out as a prisoner of the Koopa Bros. but she eventually gets
rescued by Mario, Goombario, and Kooper, who she joins on the rest of their adventure. Bombette has a  knack for exploding but she can only blow up walls with little cracks in them.  After King Bowser is defeated
she moves into Koopa Village with the rest of the Bob-ombs that used to be prisoners of the Koopa Bros.

Biographical Details: Parakarry is a friendly Koopa Paratroopa who works for the Toad Town Post Office. He is the fourth character to join Mario on his adventure in Paper Mario. He appears as a background character at first but he loses three letters at Mt. Rugged, and after Mario and his friends find them he joins them on the rest of their adventure. His flight attacks are useful. After King Bowser was defeated Parakarry went back to delivering letters all over the Mushroom Kingdom.

Lady Bow

Biographical Details: Lady Bow is a princess of Boos. She is the fifth character to join Mario on his adventure in Paper Mario. She sends her butler Bootler to Toad Town to frighten some of the citizens just to get Mario's attention. Then she holds a Star Spirit captive and agrees to let it go if he helps her defeat Tubba Blubba, an evil ghost-eating monster. Mario agrees to this deal. After Tubba Blubba is defeated Lady
Bow lets the Star Spirit go and joins Mario and his companions on the rest of their adventure. She has great invisibility and slap attacks. After King Bowser is defeated she goes back to her home in Forever Forest.

Watt

Biographical Details: Watt is a friendly Micro Sparky. She is the sixth character that joins Mario on his adventure in Paper Mario. She starts out as the prisoner of the Big Lantern Ghost but Mario rescues her and she joins him and his companions on the rest of their adventure. She had good shock attacks.  After King Bowser is defeated she returns to her home in the Shy Guy's Toy Box.

Sushie

Biographical Details: Sushie is a friendly Cheep Cheep. She is the seventh and next to last character to join Mario on his adventure in Paper Mario. She loses her charges, who are five Yoshi kids known as
the Fearsome Five, and Mario and his companions help her find them. After that she joins them on the rest of their adventure. She has good water attacks. After King Bowser is defeated Sushie returns to her home on Lavalava Island.

Lakilester

Relatives: Unknown
Friends: Mario, Goombario, Kooper, Bombette, Parakarry, Lady Bow, Watt, Sushie, Lakilulu <Girlfriend>, etc.
Enemies: King Bowser Koopa, Kammy Koopa, Huff N Puff, etc.
First Video Game Appearance: Paper Mario
First TV Appearance: None
Biographical Details: Lakilester is a friendly Lakitu who used to be not so friendly. He is the  eghth and last character to join Mario on his adventure in Paper Mario. He starts out as one of the bad guys but after Mario and his friends defeat him he changes sides and joins them on the rest of their adventure. Lakilester has some good Spiny attacks. After King Bowser is defeated Lakilester returns to Flower Fields to be with his girlfriend Lakilulu.
