More about Axem Red...
Games: Super Mario RPG
 
One of the Axem Rangers, a metallic band of axe-wielders in Smithy's Gang that turned up to steal the sixth Star at the last second.  They then raced out of the volcano and tried to escape on their ship, The Blade, but had to wait for it to arrive and ended up having to face Mario in battle.  Axem Red is the leader of the group and probably the most serious, rivaled in that category only by Axem Black.  Despite being a decent physical fighter, it's probably one of the least dangerous of the Rangers.  I always would go for Pink, the healer, first; then Green, who can cause status effects; then probably Black, who can attack twice; and then I might go for Yellow, who has the strongest physical attacks.  After all the Axems appear to be defeated, Red will backup and man The Blade's cannon to shoot breaker beams.  Once Mario destroys that, the battle is over and the Axems go down with their ship.
