Games: Yoshi's Island series
 
Bashful appears in castles in the Yoshi's Island games, usually in pairs. They move only by bouncing, and when with another Bashful they will take turns jumping as one will jump on and then off the other's head, then its buddy will bounce.  This portly foe cannot be eaten, but can be killed with an egg, preferably shot in the few seconds while it is unmoving on the ground.  Both Yoshi's Island and its sequel on DS have a version of this enemy as the first miniboss.
