Games: Super Mario Bros, Paper Mario, etc.
 
Bill Blaster is the formal name of the cannon that shoots Bullet Bills.  It has appeared in games since Mario first entered the Mushroom Kingdom in SMB, but I'm not aware of it having an official name before Paper Mario, where it was clearly identified.  Actually, an enemy much like it appeared in Super Mario RPG and was called Big Bertha... but I'm not sure that's considered canon today!  Hah...  Mm, Bill Blaster may have actually looked cooler in the older games, when it had a skull and cross bones at the base.  Now it doesn't!  Anyway, it has always been immobile, and in the Paper Mario titles it doesn't attack Mario directly, but rather will shoot a Bullet Bill every other turn for Mario to contend with.  Not surprisingly given it's made of metal, Bill Blaster has high defense.  Outside of the RPGs, it cannot be defeated.
