Chomp Bro appears in the last level, Bowser's Castle, in Superstar Saga, where he attacks by throwing - not hammers like other Bros. - but Chain Chomps, which he always catches on the rebound.  Because, uh, somehow he throws them to the left, and they come back to him from the right?  Hm...  Despite his large build and impressive stamina, Chomp Bro is one of the more tame foes in the level because if Mario or Luigi jump on the incoming Chain Chomp, knocking it out of commission, then Chomp Bro is left without a means of attack.  The big lug couldn't just use his fists or something!  After missing turns he may find another Chain Chomp and continue attacking - or just leave.

Chomp Bro made history in Roy's Sports Hall during Season Four when he had to fight... himself.  As the only Round Two qualifier during the first half of the season (the other champions each winning three weeks apiece), Roy wasn't going to just hand him the final Round Three spot, so Chomp Bro had a solo match.  In fact the fight took the form of a Mario Party-style game.  Chomp Bro flubbed the challenge, and was eliminated, by himself.
