Dark Bones is a Dry Bones boss found in the Shadow Palace of PM2.  Despite being called Dark, it’s actually blue and looks to be less like a Dark Bones then the black, spike-shelled variation of Dry Bones from Mario Superstar Baseball.  Before battle begins you have to hammer your way through a crowd of Dry Bones to get to him.  In battle he fights alongside some Dry Bones and has typical Dry Bones attacks, except unlike the Red Bones from Hooktail’s Castle, we can create more Dry Bones to pester you if you don’t defeat him fast enough.  Like all the Dry Bones varieties, he also appears in the puzzle tower deeper in the Shadow Palace.  In this appearance he fights alone, so he’s much easier apart from the fact you may have to battle him several times if you don’t get the order right.
