Games: Paper Mario The Thousand-Year Door, Mario & Luigi Partners in Time, Super Paper Mario
 
A stronger, darker version of the classic Boo enemy found in some of the RPGs. In Super Paper Mario it warped around and could surprise Mario while he was trying to escape the Underwhere. Otherwise in his appearances he's had the same abilities as Boo only faster and he has more HP. It "guarded" one of the Crystal Stars in the Thousand-Year Door with no boss apart from the already defeated Smorg, but I use the word guarded liberally because provided that you don't just run around them they're more a tool for earning a bunch of Star Points than anything else. Some pink Boos in Mario Sunshine and the Mario Party series are not known to be Dark Boos.
