More about Goomboss...
Games: Super Mario 64 DS, Mario Kart DS
 
This giant Goomba leader appeared in the "true" Mario 64, where he was charged with guarding the key to Mario's cell.  He would have been better off fighting alone instead of summoning up regular Goomba minions, because Yoshi easily ate those Goombas to create eggs that he then hurled into Goomboss' backside to defeat him.  Goomboss also appeared in one of the challenges of Mario Kart DS.  He is very reminiscent of Goomba King, the giant Goomba boss of the prologue of Paper Mario, but whether they're one and the same is not clear.
