Mimi is one of Count Bleck's top minions from Super Paper Mario.  Almost nothing is known or even rumored about Mimi's background but she is said to have been retrieved from the Underwhere.  She seems much more sweet than villainous and so it is not clear why she is helping in a plot to destroy all worlds, but perhaps her apparent crush on Bleck plays a part in this.  Mimi is an excellent shapeshifter and takes the form of many other characters throughout the game, including O'Chunks, Bleck, Merlee, King Sammer, and Merlon.  She apparently is able to copy voices but it is not known if she can copy attacks as she never fights in any of these forms.  The form she defaults to is that of a cute girl, but apparently her true form is some kind of hideous spider that has gears in it for no known reason.  Mimi fights twice in this form and many of her attacks involve rupees, a type of currency.  She is unique in that she doesn't have specific HP in this form but rather, each time she is stomped she loses a spider leg and she will be defeated when none remain.  Mimi also fights once in her cute girl form and, ironically, I think that fight is actually the toughest even though it's the middle of three encounters with her.  In all battles Peach is the best character to use against her as Peach's umbrella provides protection against some of the rupee attacks.
