Games: Super Mario Bros. 2
 
This danger-taunting mouse attacks his foes with an endless assault of bombs.  As much as that might seem to be an effective weapon it proved to be Mouser's downfall and Mario and friends threw the bombs back at him and Mouser declined to alter his battle strategy to avoid them because I guess he's too cool.  One of Wart's most loyal followers, in SMB2 he served as the boss of worlds 1 and 3, requiring more hits the second time.  In that game's remake, Super Mario Advance, Mouser was moved from world 3 to 6, pre-empting Triclyde's second appearance as Robirdo joined the mix and took world 3.  Mouser also appeared as one of Bowser's top generals in the Super Mario Brothers Super Show, and I'd say he was called upon more often than even Triclyde and the Koopa Troopa, not that he was any more successful, mind you.  Mouser hasn't broken out of SMB2 and its remake to appear in any other games of the larger franchise; it is unknown if the Lil' Mouser enemy that first appeared in Yoshi's Island is of any relation.
