Games: Mario & Luigi Partners in Time
 
This strange foe from the Star Shrine of Partners in Time would have been interesting to appear in Mario Galaxy, possibly as a much larger version of itself that Mario would run around.  As it stands, this was an unusually difficult enemy in PT with high HP.  Multiple helmeted Piranha Plant heads would pop out of the little pipes and blast the Bros. depending on the color of that plant that appeared, requiring quick reflexes to dodge all the blasts.  So from where did they come, and what did they seek?  We'll never know, since Mario just went and killed them all.

Piranha Planet was selected by retiring champion Waluigi to fill his spot in Season Nine of Roy's Sports Hall, but his debut didn't last long as he was knocked out by the Millenium Star.
