More about Shy Away...

Appearing in SMRPG, the reason he's not just called a Fly Guy is... I have no idea, because he's clearly modeled after the Shy Guys.  Though the species does appear as a fairly rare enemy in the game, they are not overly noteable in that capacity despite being able to inflict status affects.  The most significant Shy Away works for Valentina and tends the Mega Smilax that serves as a boss.  Though, we get the sense that Shy Away would be happy to make his plants grow big, strong, and vicious whether or not he was ordered to guard Nimbus Land by Valentina.  After this he shows no will to fight, and does not stand alongside Valentina and Dodo in battle despite reporting to her that Mario has gotten through and even though he once gets stuck in a room with Mario until Mario finds the key dropped by Birdo.  After Valentina is defeated Shy Away can be found by walking along an invisible path that leads off the Nimbus Land clouds.  The flying Shy Guy will surrender the fertilizer needed to grow the beanstalk that leads to the Lazy Shells, and flutter away.
