The Underchomp is a collection of three Chain Chomps, colored red, blue, and yellow, that guards the exit of the Underwhere in Super Paper Mario.  Apparently this counts as proving your worth and you have to do it even if you've been given permission to ascend to the Overthere.  It is an obvious reference to Cerberus, a three-headed dog from Greek mythology.  After being summoned by a guard door, for some reason The Underchomp is fought in a menu-driven, turn-based battle reminiscent of many old RPGs.  With three attacks per round and limited options, he could actually be pretty difficult.  But Bowser can really shine in this battle, plus, use the secret Pixl, Piccolo, and The Underchomp will just keep falling asleep.  He's cute, but you still have to fight him if all the worlds are to be saved.

These Chomps were able to take time out from their otherworldly schedule to appear in Roy's Sports Hall during Season Seven, and reached Round Three but were outdone by Anti Guy in their only season appearance.  Entering the tournament at seed 28, the Underchomp easily defeated Buster Beetle, but now it may have to dig even deeper than it normally lives, as it squares off in Round Two against Season Champion Doopliss.
