The Chocolate Machine

Ludwig von Koopa was looking in the Koopas' castle for some chocolate. He was all out and so was every candy store he could find. Ludwig walked into Lemmy and Iggy’s room while they were playing video games.

“What are you doing in here, Ludwig?” asked Lemmy without taking his eyes off the screen.

“Do you guys have any chocolate?” asked Ludwig.

“Nope,” said Iggy.

“Do you, Lemmy?” asked Ludwig.

“No. Why, you’re all out?” asked Lemmy.

“Yes, and I can’t find any chocolate in candy stores, they say I bought all of it,” said Ludwig.

“Well we can’t help you,” said Iggy.

“Do you guys have any ideas? I can’t think clearly without chocolate in my veins,” said Ludwig.

“Go ask somebody who’s not busy,” said Lemmy.

Ludwig left the room and went toward Wendy’s room. He knocked on the door.

“Who is it?” asked Wendy.

“Ludwig, it’s an emergency,” said Ludwig.

Wendy opened the door. “What?” asked Wendy.

“I can’t find any chocolate anywhere,” said Ludwig. Wendy started laughing. “What?” asked Ludwig.

“I thought it would be a real emergency. You scared me for a second,” said Wendy as she slammed the door.

Ludwig ran to Morton’s room. “Morton, it’s Ludwig!” shouted Ludwig as he knocked on Morton’s door.

“What is it Ludwig? If you want my money that can’t happen because you stole all of my money when we went to the park with King Dad and the rest,” said Morton.

“It’s not that, do you have chocolate?” asked Ludwig.

“No,” said Morton.

“Do you know where I could get some?” asked Ludwig.

“Well there are millions of places, I’ll tell you them all right now,” said Morton.

Ludwig left and didn’t listen to another one of the many words that Morton said. He knocked on Larry’s door. Larry opened it. “Larry, do you have some chocolate?” asked Ludwig.

“No, Roy might,” said Larry.

“I already asked him, there is no place to find any chocolate,” said Ludwig sadly.

“Can’t you like make an invention or something?” asked Larry.

Ludwig stopped and thought. “I could,” said Ludwig.

“So, go do it,” said Larry.

“Okay, I will,” said Ludwig as he left.

Ludwig started building for a few minutes. When he was done, he had an invention that looked like a metal box with an elephant trunk.

“What’s that?” asked Roy as he walked into the room.

“It’s a machine with which whatever I squirt will have a thick layer of chocolate over it, so I could get some cherries and give them a thick layer of chocolate over them. Now all I need is some chocolate. Do you know where any chocolate is? It can be the smallest piece, just so long as it’s chocolate,“ said Ludwig.

“There’s probably a lot of chocolate on your video game controller,” said Roy.

Ludwig took his video game controller and saw that his chocolate-stained hands got the controller sticky with chocolate. “You’re a genius Roy!” shouted Ludwig as he wiped some off with his finger and flicked it in the machine. “Now let’s see how it works,” said Ludwig as he pressed thje on switch. The machine started
rumbling.

“What’s it doing?” asked Roy.

“It’s making that tiny piece of chocolate the size of the whole machine,” said Ludwig as he took a cherry. The machine stopped rumbling. “Now watch,” said Ludwig as he put the cherry by the trunk on the machine. Ludwig pressed another button and the machine spat out some chocolate. It covered half of Ludwig’s arm and a small part of the floor. “This is unusual chocolate. Maybe it’s not even chocolate,” said Ludwig as he banged on the chocolate on his arm.

“Well that was a waste of time,” said Roy.

Ludwig licked the chocolate. “That is chocolate... it’s as hard as rock though,” said Ludwig.

“How are you gonna get out of it?” asked Roy.

“Like this,” said Ludwig as he took his wand and shot the chocolate. The chocolate broke into many small
pieces. Ludwig put a piece in his mouth.

“You can chew it?” asked Roy.

“No, I’m sucking on it until I can,” said Ludwig.

“You know, that may not be a good invention when it comes to chocolate, but when it comes to defeating the Mario Brothers, it could be very useful,” said Roy.

Ludwig stopped and thought. “You’re right,” said Ludwig. Ludwig put the machine into a backpack and put the backpack on. He held the tube that looked like a trunk in his hands. Then Ludwig ran out the door toward the Mushroom Kingdom.

Mario and Luigi were playing golf at the time. Luigi hit the ball. It flew into some trees. “Ha, you’ll never find it now, Luigi!” shouted Mario.

“Come on, let’s go look for it,” said Luigi.

Mario and Luigi went into the trees looking for the ball. When they found it, it was brown. “What happened to it?” asked Mario as he examined the ball.

“It smells like chocolate,” said Luigi.

“Look at that!” shouted Mario as he pointed to a chocolate-covered Mushroom person. “What is going on?”

“I don’t know, but I bet a Koopa is the cause of this,” said Luigi.

“Since Ludwig is the chocolate loving Koopa, I blame him,” said Mario.

“Hello Mario Brothers,” said Ludwig from behind them.

Mario and Luigi spun around. “What are you doing?” asked Mario.

“Isn’t it obvious?” said Ludwig as he squirt some chocolate at Mario. Mario got out of the way and the chocolate hardened on the ground next to Mario.

“What is that thing?” asked Luigi.

Ludwig squirt Luigi. Luigi turned into a chocolate statue like the Mushroom person.

“Luigi!” shouted Mario.

Ludwig squirt some chocolate at Mario. Mario jumped. Ludwig kept squirting at him and Mario kept dodging it. Then Ludwig thought of an idea. Ludwig started charging Mario with the chocolate still squirting until Mario got to the lake nearby the Mushroom castle. Ludwig ran up to Mario and pushed him into the river. Mario fell in with a splash. When he fell in Ludwig squirted the top of the water. A small part of the water hardened with Mario still inside. The piece started flowing downstream.

“Wait, no!” shouted Ludwig as he started chasing it. Ludwig dropped the machine so he could run faster. He wanted to bring Mario to Bowser so Bowser would be impressed. Soon Ludwig was side by side with the chunk of chocolate. Ludwig jumped into the water and grabbed the chunk of chocolate and, with all of his might, he threw it on land. Then Ludwig got out of the water and ran toward the chunk. He finally came to it. It started cranking.

“No!” shouted Ludwig as he ran toward his machine so he could freeze it more. When he got to where his machine used to be, he saw Luigi with it on his back, aiming it at Ludwig. Ludwig quickly grabbed the spout of the tube and aimed it at Luigi’s face when Luigi tried squirting him. Luigi ended up squirting himself in the face. Luigi fell to the ground with a hard chocolate face. Ludwig noticed that the chocolate that Luigi used to be in was cracked open. Then he saw Luigi starting to punch himself in the face, trying to crack the chocolate.

Ludwig gasped and threw Luigi into the water, so his hands had to swim and he couldn’t punch. Then he saw Mario coming. Ludwig remembered that Luigi had the machine on him when he was in the water. Ludwig needed to get it. Mario punched Ludwig in the face, sending Ludwig to the ground. Ludwig kicked Mario in the stomach while on the ground. Then he jumped to his feet and started running alongside the river trying to catch up to where Luigi was treading water while flowing down stream. Mario, who was faster than Ludwig, ran after Ludwig and grabbed him by the back of his hair. Ludwig spun around and hit Mario in the side of the face with the back of his hand. Mario fell to the ground again.

Ludwig continued to run. Mario got up and ran after Ludwig again. Ludwig knew that he would never catch up with Luigi if Mario was after him at the same time. So Ludwig unexpectedly spun around and tackled Mario. When he was on top of Mario, he started punching him in the face repeatedly. Luckily for Mario, Ludwig usually didn’t fight physically so the punches didn’t hurt too much. Mario threw Ludwig off from on top of him. Then Mario jumped to his feet and grabbed Ludwig by the tail. Then he started spinning him around like he does Bowser. Soon, Mario was spinning Ludwig so fast that Ludwig was nothing but a blur. Then Mario let go, sending Ludwig back to Koopa Kingdom. Then Mario noticed Luigi heading toward a waterfall (naturally), so Mario chased after him.

Soon Mario got side to side with Luigi and jumped in. He grabbed Luigi around the neck and started swimming away from the waterfall. Mario got to land and Luigi was safe.

Ludwig fell in front of the Koopas' castle. Roy was outside waiting for him.

“What took you so long? I’ve been waiting for hours for you to lose and come flying back here so we could play football,” said Roy.

“I will in a second. Right now, I’m hungry for some chocolate,” said Ludwig.
