Mario and Luigi jump in the M on the Pianta Statue and appear in Bianco Hills.
Luigi: What now, Mario?
Mario: Let's ask the townspeople.
Mario and Luigi cross the river and walk up to a farmer.
Farmer: You want an update on events? Well, the stock market failed, the town's crops are dying, and 8 red coins have appeared all over town.
Luigi: We'll take the last one!
After calculating a plan, Mario and Luigi split up and go to different sides of town to collect the coins. Mario grabs onto a nearby wire and swings up to the top of a building, collecting two coins on the way, with a red '2' appearing as he lands. Luigi follows Mario and hovers to the nearby wall and gets another coin. Mario wall-jumps up to a wire and collects the fourth coin. Luigi climbs a few mini-windmills in town and collects two more coins. Mario hovers to a nearby windmill and collects its coin.
Luigi: How many are left?
Mario: Only one!
Mario and Luigi look up and down for the last coin and come up short.
FLUDD2: Have you really searched everywhere?
Mario: Yeah!
FLUDD: How about that double windmill over there?
On the right windmill's roof is the last coin.
Mario: ... We knew that!
Mario jumps up the buildings until he is on the roof and grabs the coin, triggering a red '8' and causing a Shine Sprite to appear on a very high tightrope. Mario and Luigi race up the building to reach the rope. In the end, Mario makes it to the wire first, jumps up, and grabs the Shine.
Mario: Woohoo!
Luigi: WAAAHHH!!! You never give me
a chance to grab it! The authors must like you more!
