It started as a normal (if slightly wet) day. Mario was playing Mario Kart and losing. Suddenly Luigi barged in behind him. “Bro! Bowser attacked again!”
Mario shrugged and tossed his controller into the screen. “Lets a-go… again.”
They ran to Peach’s castle, but were stopped by a normal, green Koopa. “Excuse me, but for your one good, stay out! Oh, by the way. I’m Ridley. Can I have your autograph?”
Mario wrote: “Get a life, loser!” on Ridley’s shell and went in.
Inside he saw Kamek shoot a spell at Peach. “You will be ever loyal to Bowser!”
Suddenly Peach started drooling. “Yes… I am loyal to Bowser…” Kamek tossed Peach into the Koopa Klown Kar and fled.
Mario jumped into the pipe leading to Dark Land and saw Kastle Koopa. He ran to the gate and saw a Shy Guy. It charged and he jumped over it. Suddenly two Piranha Plants grew in front of him. “Ugh!” He grabbed his hammer and pounded them into the ground. He ran in and saw Kammy and all the Koopalings. He jumped over them and landed at the far end of the hall. He ran in and saw Bowser!
“Gwar har har! I knew Kamek could get you to come! Time to crush you into a bloody pulp!” He charged and Mario hit him with his hammer. “It’ll take more then one hammer swing to- OUCH!” Mario hit him again and ran to the dungeon. Inside he saw Peach.
“Too late. Peach, do it.” Said Kamek smiling. Peach took out a small spiny shell and held it next to her own head.
“Don’t move, or Peach will drop it. Why did I never think of this plan before?”
“No!”
“Then listen good, fatty! Get in the cell, and lock the door.” Mario nodded and went in. “Hand me the keys.”
He did so. Kamek threw Peach in a different cell and walked away laughing.
Soon a guard came over. “You’re such a loser.”
“Shut up.” Said Mario.
He began pounding on the door with his hammer but it wouldn’t budge. Soon Bowser came over to the cell. “Soo… I finally have you… What should I do first? I know! Without the mustache there to save them, Toad Town will suffer.”
“What? I thought you were going to punish me!”
“I think destroying your precious little Toad Town will punish you. Maybe later I’ll force you to listen to Morton. Anyway… I've got a town to blow up.” He walked away just as Kamek walked in.
“Isn’t this just so fun? I swear… I must be losing my mind for not doing this earlier.”
“Let me go!” Yelled Mario.
“I may be losing my mind, but I’m far from stupid. Why? You would just defeat us somehow and I would be punished for treason.”
“You could just do the thing with the Spiny shell again!”
“And what? You would wind up back in jail, only you would have something to tell Bowser. I would prefer you stayed here.”
“What about Luigi?”
Kamek slapped his forehead. “I forgot about him! Well… He’s probably going to bust in here right about… NOW!” They heard a crash and saw a green figure waddling toward them. “How did I know?”
But it was only a green Koopa Troopa. “Darn,” said Mario.
“Whew. What a relief,” said Kamek. “I’m too old for stuff like that.”
He started walking away when the Koopa ran over to the wizard. “… Mumble…” it whispered to him.
“Whaaaaaaaaaaaat?” He ran out with the Troopa.
Mario realized the guard was asleep. He reached down and…
“Ah hah! I knew you would behave badly!” it yelled! It opened up the cell door and stepped in. “Time for you’re punishment… Wait, you’re Mario. Uh oh…”
Mario slammed the guard with his hammer and grabbed the keys. He unlocked the door and ran out. “I’d better stop Bowser first.”
He ran out and saw Bowser flying toward the castle.
“What? How did you get out?!” Mario ran over and jumped on Bowser. “Oof!” He started breathing fire but missed. Mario pulled his hammer out and pounded it down on Bowser’s skull. The Koopa King fell over. “How do you always win?! Kamek!”
The wizard flew out and saw Mario. “Uh… I’d better go get Peach.”
He started running but Mario jumped in the way. “You’re not going anywhere,” he said angrily.
Kamek took out his wand and fired at Mario. Mario slid back and almost fell in the lava. “I can still beat you… even without Peach.” He slid toward Mario and fired again. Mario rolled away and hung on the edge. “Grr…” He shot a spell in the air and a spiked ball fell toward Mario. Mario jumped up and hit the ball with his hammer. It flew toward Kamek, but the Koopa wizard destroyed it with a spell.
“I’ve still got this one…” Kamek reached into his pocket and pulled out a remote. He clicked on it and two Mechakoopas came over to him. “Get him!”
They charged, but Mario swung his hammer. They shot back and smashed the wizard’s face. “Ouch…” Mario grabbed his wand and ran into the castle. He went to the dungeon and unlocked Peach’s cell.
“Err… You are back to normal?” He waved the wand around wildly. Suddenly Peach stopped drooling and looked around.
“Did I get kidnapped again?” she asked. Mario nodded. And they went back to Toad Town to repair the damage.
