Wario's Castle

By Mario Fan

Chapter 1: The Beginning

Wario sat in his castle watching TV, “Nothing's on…” he said to himself.

Wario turned off his TV as Waluigi walked into the room. “Uh, Wario? Where’s the bathroom?” Waluigi asked.

“We have a bathroom?” Wario questioned.

“It's your castle, you should know if you have a bathroom and where it would be,” Waluigi replied.

“I’ve never even seen all the rooms,” Wario said. “I don’t even know where your room is.”

“Then we need to see where everything is in the castle!” Waluigi exclaimed.

“That sounds like work...” Wario said.

“So?” Waluigi replied.

“Last I checked, I'm allergic to work,” Wario said.

Eventually, after many hours of arguing, the Wario Bros. did start an expedition through the castle,

“I dislike you,” Wario said, glaring at Waluigi.

“Whatever,” Waluigi replied.

Eventually, the brothers found their way to a door that led to the basement. “We have a basement?” Wario questioned.

“Where else would I put all my All Mushroomian Rejects CDs?” Waluigi asked.

“You actually like those guys?” Wario asked.

“Yes, now come on! Maybe the bathroom's down here!” Waluigi exclaimed.

“Oh come on, why wou-“ Before Wario could finish, Waluigi had dashed into the darkness of the basement. Wario eventually began a long walk down a dark spiral staircase. “When did we get this installed?” Wario asked himself.

Suddenly, a thump was heard.

“Who’s there?” Wario said. Suddenly, a ghost appeared in front of him.

“AH!” Wario screamed.

As quickly as it had appeared, the ghost vanished.

“Wa-Wa-Waluigi?!” Wario said with fright. Suddenly, multiple ghosts appeared in front of Wario, all of which flew away. After that, the lights came on.

“Phew, at least it's not dark anymore,” Wario said to himself.

Just then, Waluigi dashed up the stairs, passed up Wario, and ran away. “Hey! Where are you going?” Wario shouted.

After that, a massive bundle of ghosts flew up the stairs, chasing Waluigi. “What the?” Wario asked himself. “What's going on?”

Wario then dashed to the bottom of the basement. There, ghosts were floating all around.

“What the? Hey! Isn’t that Wario?” one of the ghosts said, looking at Wario.

“Oh my gosh, it is!” another exclaimed.

“RUN FOR IT!” the first one shouted as all the ghosts flew away.

“Gosh, what’s going on down here?” Wario said to himself.

“The racket up there is enough to wake the dead! And it did!” said a voice. “Now, you will suffer the same fate as your purple-capped friend!”

Just then, a massive swarm of ghosts flew in through the walls. “ACK!” Wario shouted as the ghosts grabbed him and dragged him upstairs. After quite a bit of flying, the ghosts dropped Wario off in the kitchen
and fled. After they were gone, all the doors were wrapped with bizarre, unbreakable vines, and a group of ghosts flew in.

Wario then proceeded to grab the ghosts and stuff them in a bag, only to have them escape. He then tried beating them to a pulp, but that failed as well, “Is there anyway to get rid of the things?!” Wario exclaimed.
He then noticed a mysterious, large, metal box, and proceeded to trap the ghosts in it. “Ha! That was easy!” Wario said with a laugh. Just then, the vines vanished.

“Well, looks like this box can grow with the amount of items put in it!” he said while examining the box. “Looks like I'm going on a ghost hunt!”

Chapter 2: E. Gadd’s Entrance

Inside Wario’s freezer, Waluigi was being held captive by a group of ghosts. “What do you want with me?!” Waluigi exclaimed, shivering.

“We’re keeping you here until we have your yellow friend!” one of the ghosts replied.

“What do you want with Wario?” Waluigi asked.

“You two make so much noise in this castle, we decided to do something about it,” one ghost said.

“We’re putting you two out of the picture!” another ghost shouted.

“Once you’re gone, we’ll have the castle all for ourselves!” another exclaimed.

“Ack, Wario? Where are you?!” Waluigi shouted.

Meanwhile, Wario was searching through the castle trying out his new weapon. So far he’d captured 10 ghosts in it, and was just about to catch his 11th.

“C’mon!” Wario shouted. “Fly in the box!” Eventually, the ghost flew in, and the box began to rumble. “Wh-what’s going on?!” Wario exclaimed. Just then, the box exploded, releasing all the ghosts. “Aw!” Wario said to himself, sitting on the floor. “All that work for nothing!”

Wario scratched his head while examining the box. “Why does it only let me catch ten?” Wario asked himself. Then he threw away the box, nearly breaking a window. “I’ve tried everything!” he said to himself “These ghosts are going to be here forever!”

Meanwhile, in Professor E. Gadd’s laboratory…

“Hm… I wonder what happened to those pestering brothers who used to come here?” the professor asked himself, drinking some coffee. “They haven’t been here for days!” E. Gadd said, putting down his coffee mug. “I’d better find out what happened to them!” E. Gadd exclaimed.

The lonely professor thus hopped into his car and drove off to Wario’s Castle, and was amazed by what he saw. “Woah! That looks just like that old mansion!” the professor said in shock. “Those ghosts must have come to ruin someone else’s day!”

E. Gadd then proceeded to enter the castle to hunt for Wario and Waluigi.

Chapter 3: The Poltergust 3001

Wario was walking around the castle looking for Waluigi. “WA-LU-IGI! WHERE ARE YOU?” Wario shouted.

Meanwhile, Waluigi was still being tortured.

“Got any threes?” Waluigi asked his kidnappers.

“Go fish,” one of the ghosts replied.

Meanerwhile, E. Gadd was trying to find Wario and Waluigi. “WA-RI-O! WA-LU-IGI! WHERE ARE YOU?” he shouted.

“Who said that?” Wario said, exiting his bedroom.

“Wario! There you are!” E. Gadd exclaimed.

“What are you doing here?” Wario asked the professor.

“I’ve been looking all over this here castle for you!” E. Gadd exclaimed.

“When I saw the way the castle looked, I knew you had a ghost problem!”

“You could say that,” Wario replied. “Waluigi and I were just going on an expedition through the castle when he dashed down to the basement. Next thing I knew, ghosts were flying around!”

“You have a basement?” E. Gadd asked.

“Apparently,” Wario replied.

“Well, I can fix all your problems,” E. Gadd said, “with this!”

Just then, E. Gadd pulled a large ball with wheels and a vacuum cleaner hose out of a metal holder on his back.

“This is the Poltergust 3001!” E. Gadd said. “A vacuum cleaner that can suck up ghosts!”

“Wait, 3001?” Wario asked. “I thought all you had was a 3000!”

“This is the latest edition,” E. Gadd replied. “All the power of the Poltergust 3000, and you can ride on it!”

“Hm, so with this… thing, I could capture the ghosts and save my brother?” Wario asked.

“Exactly!” E. Gadd replied.

And with that, the two were off on a mission to rid the castle of the ghosts and save Waluigi.
