PROLOGUE
It's a normal day in the Mushroom Kingdom. Mario is lying in his bed, playing his Nintendo DS, when suddenly Toad bursts into the room and snatches the console from him.
Mario: What-a are you doing?
Toad: Princess wants you. Can't talk any more. Playing game.
Mario: Yeesh-a!
Mario jumps towards Peach's Castle, walks in, runs to the throne room, and skids to a halt next to the princess.
Mario: What-a do you want-a?
Toadsworth: Mr. Mario, we have just received a letter from the Beanbean Kingdom...
Toad: Yup.
Toadsworth: ...And it seems that they want to speak to the princess here. Because of what happened last time...
Toad: Yeah?
Toadsworth: ... We're scared...
Mario: ... And you-a want me to come-a?
Princess Peach: If you could, Mario, it would be lovely.
Toadsworth: Indeed.
Toad: Sock it to me!
Mario jumps on Toad's head and steals back his DS.
Princess Peach: So... Mario. Can you please come?
Mario: Yeah, whatever-a.
Toad: Let's go then! The royal plane is ready for departure!
Random Duplighost: Give it to 'dem, brudda Toad!
Goomba: Yeah! Yeah! Yay!
Mario jumps on the Goomba's head, steals its coin, and then kicks Princess Peach in the face.
Princess Peach: Mario, what was that for?
Mario: Oh... You're the real-a one! Wait a mo'!
Toad: M-Mario! Stay back!
Mario stomps on the Toad, and the random Duplighost backs away slowly. A Toad pilot runs in and stops in front of Princess Peach.
Toad Pilot: Come this way, Princess!

CHAPTER 1: Voyage to the BeanBean Kingdom!
Mario, Princess Peach, and Toadsworth are sitting in chairs within the Royal Plane. A Toad airhost runs in and trips over a banana that was sitting on the floor.
Banana: Hey, watch it!
Host: Sorry! But Sirs and Miss! Our radar shows that there are two unidentified objects following us!
Princess Peach: What?
Host: It's true!
Toadsworth: Take evasive action, then!
Host: We... have NONE!
Mario runs to the cockpit and checks the radar. The objects are getting closer, so Mario uses his hammer to break out of the plane.
Pilot Toad: No, Mario! NO!
Co-Pilot: You heard 'im! Don't do tha...
Suddenly everyone is sucked out of the plane, just as the objects hit it. Pieces of metal are launched everywhere. One hits Toad.
Mario: Yes!
A huge, metal arm grabs Peach and pulls her back. Everybody looks up and sees the Koopa Cruiser, which launches a missile.
Mario: No!
Toad: Argh!
Toadsworth: I need ma' vittles!
The missile explodes and knocks them all unconscious, apart from Toad, who is now soaring to the sea under a scrap of metal.
Banana: I'm still conscious!
Toadsworth: So am I!
Toad Pilot: ...
Mario: ...
Co-Pilot: Sock it to me!
When Mario finally awakes, he is lying next to a purple cliff with half a plane and some passengers.
Toadsworth: Mario?
Mario: Yes-a?
Toadsworth: Do you know what you have to do?
Mario: I think-a I know...
Co-Pilot: You have to save Princess Peach from the clutches of the evil Lord Bowser!
Mario: I better get going-a then. But where are we?
Toadsworth: It appears we are in Stardust Fields.
Mario: Does that-a mean I have to go through Hoohoo Mountain?
Toadsworth: No. Luckily, we managed to land right above a river.
Mario: So?
Toadsworth: We can use Banana as a boat to sail into the Castle Town!
Banana: Even though I don't want to...
Toad Pilot: Let's go to Castle Town!
Everyone jumps onto the banana and hops off the cliff, landing in the river.
Mario: Yay-a!
Toadsworth: Let's go, then!
Banana: Choke! Splutter!
Mario: Shut up!
After a long journey, Mario leaps off the half-dead Banana and walks through Castle Town, followed by Toadsworth and the pilots.
Mario: Let's-a go! The castle is-a this way!
Co-Pilot: Okay!
Toadsworth: Is it just me or does the town look a little... different?
Mario: You're right! They're selling new Mushrooms at the shop!
Toadsworth: I mean the town has been blown to bits.
Mario: Oh. Yeah, I guess that is different too.
Everyone walks to the castle and sees the two guards lying on the ground.
Mario: Yeesh. Sleeping on the job.
Toadsworth: Mario, they're unconscious!
Mario: So-a?
Co-Pilot: Groan...
They all walk in and see Queen Bean sitting on the floor.
Toadsworth: What's wrong, Miss?
Queen Bean: Prince Peasley has been kidnapped and taken to Chucklehuck Woods!
Mario: Oh!
Queen Bean: Mario?
Mario: Yes-a?
Queen Bean: Since you're here, could you possibly... save Peasley?
Toadsworth: He'd be honored!
Mario: What?
Queen Bean: Wonderful! When can you leave?
Mario: Well...
Toadsworth: Immediately!
Mario: Grr...
Queen Bean: Thank you very much, Mario! So very much!
Toad: I'll come too!
Mario: I thought you drowned!
Toad: So did I...
Mario: Well, we better go...
Toad: Okay! Come on! Hop to it!
They both walk out of the castle, and Mario pushes Toad over.
Queen Bean: Oh, he's such a dear!
Toadsworth: I know, I know!

CHAPTER 2: Peasley in the Forest
Mario and Toad are aimlessly walking in Chucklehuck Woods.
Toad: Can you guess what word I'm thinking of? And it's not kitty.
Mario: I don't know-a. I give up.
Toad: It is kitty! Can you guess what word I'm thinking of now? And it's not kitty.
Mario: Is it-a kitty?
Toad: GET OUT OF MY HEAD!
Toad runs around in circles and smashes into a tree, causing Beanies to fall out.
Mario: Oh-a, come on! We just got-a into this place!
Toad: I don't want to feed grandma bacon in the fridge...
Beanie 1: Is your friend drunk?
Mario: Yeah... If you attack him, he won't hurt you-a back. Get him.
Beanie 2: Come on, Fred! Let's pulverize 'im!
Toad: Superman could eat the goat on the loo...
Mario runs away while Toad is attacked by two rabid beans.
Mario: Finally... I think-a I ditched him.
???: But you found me!
Mario: Who are you?
???: I'm Doopliss, you twerp.
Mario: Oh, yeah-a.
Doopliss: I know where Peasley is!
Mario: Where?
Doopliss: I don't want to tell you!
Mario: What do I-a have to do?
Doopliss: Beat me in another fight, Slick!
Mario: Of course...
Toad: Mario... You... Monster...
Toad runs at Mario and trips him up.
Mario: Toad, we-a have to beat Doopliss so that he tells us where Peasley is!
Toad: Fine. But afterwards, I'm getting you.
Doopliss: Let's play then!
Doopliss flies up and then dives at Mario, knocking him back.
Mario: You will-a pay for that!
Toad: Mario, hit him with your hammer!
Mario: Okay!
Doopliss hops back and trips over, just as Mario leaps up and whacks him with his mallet.
Doopliss: Spare me! I'll tell you where Peasley is!
Toad: Where?
Doopliss: He's in the cave, just over there!
Mario: Good! Let's-a go!
Toad: Sock it to me!
Mario: Stop saying that.
Mario and Toad run to the cave nearby and enter, just to have a gate shut behind them.
Doopliss: FOOLS! You're so gullible! But just so you know, Peasley is in there... or at least the NEW Peasley is! Mwa ha ha!
Toad: You fiend! We'll save Peasley, no matter what!
Mario: We may-a as well keep going...
Toad: Fine... We must save Peasley!
They both walk down the path, when suddenly a huge Beanie falls down and squishes Toad.
Mario: Yes!
Beanie: Murgle wargle moo!
Toad: Mario, I'm going to get you...
The giant Beanie runs at Mario, who jumps up and hits it with his hammer.
Mario: You're-a going to lose!
Toad: WHY DON'T YOU HELP?
Mario: Quiet, Toad. We're fighting.
Beanie: Splurga hurga koo!
The Beanie pushes Mario back and bites him.
Toad: You're in for it, Beanie!
Beanie: Joo joo?
Mario: What are you-a doing?
Toad jumps and pushes the Beanie over, then starts chucking rocks at it.
Toad: Grr... Jump on me, will you?
Mario: Stop it! It's changing!
Toad: ... And?
Suddenly the monster turns into the one, the only... PRINCE PEASLEY!
Prince Peasley: Mario, is that you? Have you saved me yet again? Ha ha ha ha!
Mario: Yup, it's-a me!
Prince Peasley: And who is this little friend?
Toad: I'm Toad! It's an honor, sir!
Mario: Can you-a take us back to the castle on that bean-thing?
Prince Peasley: Indeed, fine friends. But we mustn't dawdle! Let's go!
They finally make it back to the castle, and find Queen Bean waving outside.
Queen Bean: Cooee!
Prince Peasley: Hello, Mother!
Toadsworth: Ahoy, Mario! Congratulations!
Toad: I feel sick...
Mario: Be quiet-a!
They all hop off of the bean-thing and walk over to the others.
Queen Bean: Mario, you marvelous lad! You saved him!
Toad: Me too...
Toadsworth: Shush, boy!
Queen Bean: While you were away, we traced the location of Bowser and Peach...
Mario: Yes?
Queen Bean: ... But we were unsuccessful. However, we know where you can find out exactly where that monster is.
Mario: Where-a is it?
Queen Bean: Woohoo Hooniversity!
Mario: Perfect!
Toadsworth: However, there has been a recent attack on the building. Two Bowser Missiles have hit it. We need you to save it!
Toad: Of course! We can go immediately, sir!
Toadsworth: Good! Then off you shall go! Goodbye, boys!
Mario: Bye-a!
