Mario and Wario arrive at the Honeyhive Galaxy to see a shadowy Mario with stars in him.
Mario: Is that… me?
Wario: Sure looks like it.
Cosmic Mario gets in a racing position.
Mario: Looks like he wants to race. Where’s the goal, Wario?
Wario: Where that Star is after the honey!
Mario: Ok, then! Let’s-a go!
They start. Cosmic Mario uses the block steps, but Mario longs jumps from a short spot on a different path, so he slides down the log tube first. He also gets down the slide first, but Cosmic Mario pushes Mario into the honey and tries to get the Star, but falls in the next bit of honey. Mario uses this chance to get the Star.
Mario: By a major comeback, the winner is me!
Wario: Yeah, yeah.
Let’s just get out of here! I’m starving!
