Title: There’s
half of the Teen Girl Squad!
Phil: Previously on, The Amazing Race MK! 9 teams were immediately faced with a tough Roadblock in the middle of the forest. It was then teams learned they would be flying to the far off land of Sarasaland. It became increasingly evident that booking flights… would be no picnic.
Neil: We’re gonna be stuck here for god knows how long!
Phil: Taking a huge chance, Foshi & Xoshi hopped on a flight to Rogueport. The risk paid off, and they made it to Sarasaland long before anyone else.
Kooper: Foshi & Xoshi look like geniuses!
Phil: Turmoil continued in the airport when Patrick and Norman were yanked off a flight after they had already settled into their seats. Though they were a full day ahead, Foshi & Xoshi had no idea of their placement, which led to their use of the Yield. Their target was Neil and Ella, who fell behind as a result and were eliminated. Now… 8 teams remain. Who will be eliminated… next?!

Phil: This is Sarasaland!!! Sister to the Mushroom Kingdom, the land is diverse and beautiful, stretching from ocean to mountain. It is ruled by Daisy, whose love for flowers is evident throughout the land. This is Daisy’s Gardens, the largest flower garden… in either kingdom. This… was the third Pit Stop… in a race around the MK. Teams arrived here for a mandatory rest period. The 8 teams waiting here have no idea what’s in store for them. As a result of airport problems in the previous leg, five teams are now approximately 24 hours ahead of the other three. Can these flailing teams catch up? Foshi and Xoshi, who were the first to arrive at 9:13 PM Thursday… will depart at 9:13 AM Friday, before three teams have even checked into the Pit Stop.

Phil: Teams must now fly across the continent to return to the Mushroom Kingdom. They are headed to this place: Cheep Cheep Beach. When they land, teams must search these nearby dock houses for their next clue.

***Foshi: I could tell I was not going to enjoy this leg. I really hate water, and it’s my only fear…

***Foshi: Xoshi and I came in first twice, so we knew we just had to work hard to finish strong again!

***Xoshi: While we were staying at the Pit Stop we only saw a few teams. We don’t know how far ahead we are because we slept through almost the whole thing, and when we woke up it was time to go. We just caught a glimpse of others.

Phil: A Detour is a choice between two tasks, each with its own pros and cons. In this Detour, both options involve catching something found around these Beaches. The choice? Catch 1… or Catch 3. In Catch 1, teams walk a short distance under these beautiful coral outcroppings to find this sand pit. Here, teams must catch one Sidestepper. Only one is required to finish the task, but Sidesteppers are notoriously fast and evasive. In Catch 3, teams walk a slightly longer distance to this beach. Here, they must use nets to catch 3 Cheep Cheeps. This task requires more animals be caught, but Cheep Cheeps are slow and stupid.

In this Roadblock, one team member must immerse themselves in the wonders of Cheep Cheep Beach… hidden below the surface. They must don Scuba gear and take a dive deep down to the coral reefs underwater. They must then search for this clue…

Phil: …which will direct them to this place: the underwater caves. These majestically beautiful subterranean caves are where they will meet up with their partner, who has been teleported here by a Magikoopa, and where they will check into the Pit Stop for this leg of the race. The last team to check in here… may be eliminated…
