think the city’s made out of diamonds
Phil: Previously on: The Amazing Race MK!
Phil: 9 teams began their journey from the Mushroom Kingdom Airport. Their destination was the nearby Beanbean Kingdom. However, before the leg could even begin, one team encountered problems.
***Dour: Someone had lost our race Credit Card that we’re supposed to use to buy airline tickets.
Phil: In the sprawling fields of the Beanbean Kingdom, another team found they’d made a huge flaw.
Hammer: How much in Mushroom Coins?
Cabbie: We don’t take Mushroom Coins.
Phil: As the race moved from grass to sand, teams found a quick Detour that ended up leaving them scratching their heads.
Big Boo: Wait…
Gritty: *Arabic*
Phil: In the end, Hammer Bro. & Boomerang Bro. didn’t fall as far behind as they’d expected. However, they found they had a more pressing problem.
Boomerang: We’re pretty close to 0…
Phil: … and Kroop & Dour, unable to secure a flight on the same day as the others, were eliminated. Now… 8 teams remain… who will be eliminated… next?
The opening plays with a new Red “X” over Kroop & Dour.
Phil: This is Teehee Desert! Under the sweltering heat, few inhabitants can survive. And towering above this desolate wasteland is Little Fungitown, where emigrants from the Mushroom Kingdom often live. This elevator connects the two locations, and was also the third Pit Stop… in The Amazing Race. Teams arrived here for a mandatory rest period that allows them to eat, sleep, and mingle with the other teams. Will Hammer Bro. and Boomerang Bro., who are slowly running out of money, manage to survive? Or… will they be the next team to be eliminated? Raz & Raini… who were the first to arrive at 6:35 PM… will depart… at 6:35 AM.

Raz: Fly to Diamond City! Wow!
Phil: Teams must now fly more than 1,700 miles to the coastal Diamond City. When they land, teams must make their way to this dock, where they must catch a ferry to Crygor Island, where their next clue is waiting for them.

Raz: Yeah!
Raini: We gotta get down to the airport, right now. Taxi!

Phil: A Detour is a choice between two tasks, each with its own pros and cons! Diamond City is home to the famous WarioWare Inc., and many of its residents are contributors to the company, including the owner of this laboratory, Dr. Crygor. Now, teams will have to experience some of his wild inventions, and choose between Touch or Twist. In Touch, teams will enter the laboratory and play one set of Microgames from WarioWare: Touched! However, there’s a catch. The DS they will be using is enormous, forcing both team members to use their entire bodies on the touch screen.

Phil: If teams can complete this strange task, they will receive their next clue. In Twist, teams will enter and receive a GameBoy Advance, normal-sized, and must play three sets of Microgames from WarioWare: Twisted! This task requires the completion of more Microgames, but it can be completed in a much more orthodox way.

We see a camera shot of the top floor, which mostly has cubicles with computers, as well as a few large TVs.

Phil is seen playing with a DS. A view of the screen shows that he’s playing a DIY microgame. When he wins, a bunch of letters fall down saying “A Roadblock is a task that only one person may perform”.
Phil: …and no one can do more than 6 on the entire race. In this Roadblock, teams will join the multimillion-coin company that is WarioWare Inc., whose latest game, WarioWare DIY, allows players to actually create their own microgames. Now, teams will have to create three distinct microgames. These microgames may be whatever the team member wishes them to be. However, they will be tested out by staff members once completed. If the staff members can survive playing these microgames for a full minute without losing all of their lives, the team member must start over and create three new microgames. However, should the staff member lose, they will receive their next clue.
