Welcome to Lemmy's Captions! Here, you will have the chance to view a piece of artwork, then add a piece of commentary to it. For example, you might give a quote for a character in the picture, or you might make a comical observation. The result, at the end of each week, will be a list of captions and, quite possibly, a lot of laughs. And in case that's not enough, you have a chance to earn some Koopaling votes as well.

The process is simple, but there are a few steps you must follow. First, look at the picture below and figure out what's going on. Is a character supposed to be saying something? What is happening? When you think you know, use the form at the bottom of the page to submit your caption. Captions must either be one theme or one quote long, so...

Acceptable: Larry: I'm an idiot! I just crashed into this wall! (one quote)

Unacceptable: Larry: I'm an idiot!
Unacceptable: Roy: That's right, you just crashed into that wall! (two quotes)

After you submit your caption you can take a break for a while, but remember to come back the following week so you can see all the captions and whether you won, not to mention submit a caption for the next picture.

Each week, I will select one submitted caption as the best of them all, and will give the tourist that submitted it two Koopaling votes for their effort. Two runner-ups will also receive one Koopaling vote each. You may submit as many captions as you like each week, but you should make sure to separate them clearly in the form so that I am clear where each captions starts and ends. If I can't tell, it may be rejected... and no one wants that.
