Hello... Today I'll review Super Mario World: Super Mario Advance 2. I think the good ol' days of Super Nintendo is coming opon us again, with all the SNES games coming back with the GBA, not only for us pro
gamers, but for the next generation to enjoy what we went through with the SNES. Well, enough with the chat, let's get this show on the road! I will be using a 1 to 10 scale, 10 being best.
System: GBA
Rating: E for Everyone
Graphics: 8
The graphics are great... but the Koopalings were all messed up, discolored and stuff. But everything else is great.
Sound: 10
There are some new sounds in this version of Mario World, like Mario saying "That's what I needed!" when he gets a power-up, for instance.
Characters: 10+
There are SO MANY characters in this game, many new. But there's no Hammer Bros. in this game! Those are my favorites! But the score went WAY up because the Koopalings are in it.
Levels: 9
There are many levels in this game, 95 to be exact... I think. Most are Grass Land-like levels. The Koopalings' castles are great, and so are the Reznor's forts. The Special levels are pretty cool too.
Mario Bros.: 4
This is an alternate game you can play besides Mario World. It's fun at first but gets boring FAST. It's really for multiplayer, it's more fun then. I havn't done that yet because there's no other person I know with a Mario World game, but I imagine this is fun with a friend or friends.
Fun Factor!: 9
This game's fun, just like it's SNES counterpart. I marked off a point because the game is kind of easy.
OVERALL: 9
This is a great game. I mean face it, it's one of the best Mario games for the GBA. For those boring car trips or if your SNES won't work for some reason. Great game!
