List of Foes:
Red Croc: Moves slowly on land, but climbs quickly.
Blue Croc: Moves quickly while climbing and on land. Launched by Mario.
Bird: Moves quickly through the air, some drop eggs. Launched by Mario.
Red Spark: Orbits the platforms in Lvl 3.
Blue Spark: Travels down the platforms in Lvl 3, starting at the top. Launched by Mario.

List of Items:
Fruit: Found throughout the game in various locations, touch it to cause it to fall, killing enemies below.
Key: Found in the final level, push into keyholes to free DK and end the game.
Keyholes: See above article.

Title Screen:
 Select 1 or 2 player game A to move on to Lvl 1

Lvl 1: Jungle Level
Jump onto the vine directly above you and climb up, avoiding crocs. Jump on the platform to the right, then to the next vine. Lower yourself to the ground and jump from platform to platform until you get to the small ledge at the edge of the screen. Climb up the vines, avoiding crocs, until you get to the top, wait ‘til the coast is clear, then run towards Mario and jump to the final vine to clear the level.

Lvl 2: Another Jungle
Okay, look at the level closely. See that moving platform? Wait ‘til it’s moving towards you, then jump on the spring pad. Hopefully you’ll land on the platform I mentioned earlier. Jump on the moving rope to the left, then climb up the vines. Climb across the vines avoiding birds until you get to the right hand edge of the screen. Climb to the top platform, then run at Mario while avoiding birds. Jump on the final vine to end the level. If you didn’t land on that moving platform you have 2 choices, either go back to the start of the level and try again, or continue across the platforms to the right edge of the screen, then climb up the vine and jump on the platform above. Avoid the bird that’s dropping eggs, then jump on the moving rope, then onto the moving platform. From there, continue as above.

Lvl 3: Electric level
From the level start, climb up the vines, then run across the platform avoiding the red and blue sparks. Repeat 'til you get to the top, then jump on the final vine to win.

Lvl 4: Final Level!
Okay, final level. See those things on the vines? Those are keys (see list of items). Climb on the vine under them to push them into the keyholes at the tops of the vines. Once they're all in their keyholes the game ends.

Just watch the physics-defying cutscene.
